Intro: pottery wheel
4 week courses: $250
Weekly instruction and studio time:
3 hours instructional 3 hours studio time

This four week course will introduce you to the pottery wheel. Students should expect to produce a cup and bowl by the end of the course.
Glazed work can be picked up 2 weeks after the end of the class.
Clay, tools, glaze and firings included.
– Classes are limited to 4 students
– Classes meet once per week for instruction and practice, with an option for once per week “studio time” – music, tea, practice and making.
– Participants should plan to attend all instructional meetings.
– Studio days are optional and highly recommended.

– Centering / Pulling / Trimming

This four week course will introduce you to hand building. Students should expect to create a variety of hand-built pieces by the end of the course. Options include cups, plate/platter forms, sculptural work
We’ll glaze and fire your work, which can be picked up 2 weeks after the end of the class.
